 Kampuni ya ndege ya Fast Jet imezikanusha ripoti kuwa imenyang’anywa leseni yake ya biashara katika nchi kadhaa barani Afrika ikiwemo Tanzania.Kupitia website yake kampuni hiyo imeandika:

Licha ya taarifa za leo kwenye vyombo vya habari, ni biashara kama kawaida hapa fastjet. Madai kuhusu kunyang’anywa leseni ni uongo mtupu. Tunaendelea na safari zetu kutoka Tanzania na tunaendelea kuanzisha safari mpya kama ilivyopangwa.

Hii ni njama/hujuma ‘binafsi’ dhidi ya fstjet katika jaribio wazi lililotengenezwa kuharibu brand na sifa ya Fastjet.Ofisi zetu na matawi yetu bado zipo wazi kwa booking mpya na hakuna refund zozote.

Brand Licence

In response to recent misleading press reports, David Lenigas, Chairman of fastjet plc and Chairman of Five Forty Aviation Limited (Kenya) (“Fly540 Kenya”), confirms that there is no valid Brand Licence Agreements, Franchise Agreements or Management Agreements between Fly540 Kenya and Fastjet or any other Fly540 associated Companies in Africa.

Statements made by Don Smith from Kenya, a director of Fly540 Kenya, suggesting he has the right to withdraw the Brand are absolutely wrong and without foundation. The Board of Directors of Fly540 Kenya has never met to even consider this issue.
